Lisa Edelstein has been an American actress for a total of 20 years. Most well-known is for her performance on House which airs on Fox. Raised in Wayne in conservative Jewish customs, she emigrated into New York City at the age of 18 to pursue studies in theater at Tisch school of arts. Then, in the course of time, she became involved in the city's club scene and made enough noise to be recognized by the media, concurrently, becoming aware of the devastating effect of AIDS. Then, she used her experiences and her fame in order to create and write the musical called Positive Me, and she also was a part of. Awake in the Wild Side was her next assignment. Following the end of the series the show, she began appearing on television and film productions, initially in smaller roles, and slowly established herself as an actor.
